What is a mobile DMV service in Las Vegas?

A mobile DMV service handles your Nevada DMV paperwork for you. Front Door DMV Services meets you at your home or office in Las Vegas, Henderson or North Las Vegas, reviews your documents on the spot, completes the DMV transaction, and brings your registration, plates or title paperwork back to your door — so you skip the DMV line and the appointment wait.

Can you renew my Nevada vehicle registration without me going to the DMV?

Yes. We confirm your Clark County emissions (smog) requirement and Nevada insurance, process your registration renewal, and deliver your new decal and registration to your door. Expired tags and missed renewal notices are handled the same way.

Do I need a smog check to renew my registration in Las Vegas?

Most vehicles registered in the Las Vegas area need an emissions (smog) test before renewal. Your renewal notice tells you if one is required. We confirm the requirement for your vehicle and coordinate it as part of your renewal.

I just moved to Nevada. How long do I have to register my car?

New residents have 30 days to register their vehicle in Nevada. Out-of-state vehicles also need a VIN inspection (Form VP 015) and, in most cases, an emissions test. We coordinate the VIN inspection, the emissions test and your Nevada title and registration application so you never visit a DMV office.

Can you help with title transfers, lost titles and lost plates?

Yes. We handle private-party title transfers, out-of-state title transfers, duplicate titles, lien releases, and lost or stolen plate replacements, including the affidavits and applications the Nevada DMV requires.

Do you help with commercial trucks and Form 2290?

Yes. For owner-operators and fleets we handle Nevada commercial vehicle registration and title work, IRS Form 2290 heavy vehicle use tax e-filing (the stamped Schedule 1 is required to register trucks 55,000 lbs and over), and truck movement permits.

Do you issue driver’s licenses, IDs or driving tests?

No. Front Door DMV Services does not issue or renew driver’s licenses or state IDs, and does not provide driving tests. We handle vehicle registration, titles, VIN inspections, plates, moving permits and motor carrier paperwork.

How much does a mobile DMV service cost?

You pay a flat service fee for each transaction plus the Nevada DMV fees and taxes, which go directly to the state. We confirm your total before we start, and no payment is required to book.

What areas do you serve?

We come to you anywhere in the Las Vegas Valley, including Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Inspirada, Southern Highlands, Green Valley and Boulder City. Outside the area? Call us — we cover most of Clark County.

Are you the Nevada DMV?

No. Front Door DMV Services is a private company and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. State DMV fees are separate from our service fees.
